I had been referred here by a co worker and it is really good. It is located by 2 different locations in Wc and Concord Mobile Food truck. The hours are 4-2am and may vary. I had tried finding them ad was surprised at 1st it wasn't a Brick ad Mortar store. I had tried the Shrimp and Chicken Fried Rice, They were busy when I arrived, but it came out pretty quick. The food i was able was very good and portion wise was very satisfying. Th other time I went, I went to the Monument Concord location. This particular time we texted our order and it was ready before we got there. We had not brought cash the 2nd time, but were able to go to the nearest ATM in a close by store. This clown had the audacity to use the fact that he was serving a special event menu, and not his normal food, to try and make a fool of me and claim that I accidentally reviewed the wrong truck. Here is the picture I took of his truck because I was so disgusted by his business that I wanted to remember the name to make a review. Is this not your truck, you hack? Did someone make a perfect replica of your truck and use to to sell garbage and disrespect customers? Wow! Just spent half an hour in line, just to find out they only take tap to pay...that isn't the worst...some poor guy dropped his food right in front of the girl at the counter and she stared at it and kinda smirked. The guy had been waiting for as long as we had, when he asked about his food, she was indifferent and what I would consider rude. Guy finally gets his food, and it topples over. She looks over at the cook and says some dude just dropped his food, and they did absolutely nothing. I'm glad I actually didn't give them my business. We were probably the most pacifist and quiet customers there. At 10pm in walnut creek. Found them through yelp on our way home from meeting w friends. Everyone's commenting on sauce...? I didnt get any in my two bags. I got salmon w rice, filet or crab with rice and vegetables, sushi roll and just plain noodles. I thought it was overpriced. Portions - standard little plastic container. Didnt eat the bottom layer of all 3 dishes. Just soaked in oil. Like unbelievable amount of just tasteless oil. Not much garlic taste. I got referred through a friend to try out the food and left disappointed. The service is terrible. They told me "10 mins" and I ended up waiting 40 mins for my food and not only that they didn't even call out my number. If it wasn't for me noticing a bag of food sitting on the counter I would have never approached the window to ask if it was mine. They don't give you a receipt and don't even tell you the total amount before taking your payment. After swiping my card, getting the food, and driving home is when I noticed how much I got charged. I did the math and was charged an additional $10 after tax? I contacted their number where they take orders to ask about the payment. Person responded back and told me they would find out, but never got back to me. Ok, so I just left City Bachi about 20 min ago, as I found them on Yelp tonight, and I must say it didn't disappoint. I really dislike soggy, overcooked veggies, and these were cooked perfectly. It had the right amount of crunch without being undercooked. I bought the steak, chicken, and shrimp combo with fried rice . The steak was very tender, as was the other protein. The only thing is, I am not sure if the side sauce was a dipping sauce or the extra garlic butter. This isn't meant to be any kind of shade. It could be my taste buds...lol. Mannnnn!!!! Me and babe went on an adventure dinner (once a week, we try a new local place- small business, not part of a chain) last night and when I tell you I'm so glad we took a chance on City Bachi- we are soooo glad we took the chance. The customer service was phenomenal! And the food was better than phenomenal! Everything was so fresh and tasted amazing. The only thing I would do, that I didn't know to do this time, is request that my food be cooked with extra garlic butter. You can tell that they are using fresh veggies and good selections of meat! Their shrimp is completely deveined and butterflied! Everything was made to order and not sitting under lamps waiting for an order! This is like ten minutes from my house and it will surely be a place that I visit multiple times a month. I didn't find them to be pricey for what they offer. We ordered a combo shrimp/chicken with fried rice, shrimp fried rice and sushi rolls- 50$ and had food left over for lunch today- win, win!!! Pleasantly surprised actually. Portion was perfect to get full, prices are competitive with the area, and service was good. As others mentioned, don't forget to ask for sauce since it's not included on the side. When I tried to order a Happy Hour plate, was told they were not offering those today. Even though the menu says it is ALWAYS available. Tried them when they came out to Pittsburg. I preordered through text and I still waited an hour and 15 minutes to get my food, despite preordering. Just ridiculous. They obviously couldn't keep up with the demand because there were tons of people there who were waiting since before I got there and were still there when I left. I got home to find the steak completely rare, it was almost still bloody. The chicken and rice were completely flavorless and the whole thing was just not it. The carrots were hard as a rock and the only thing with a little flavor was the zucchini. Saw someone raving about how good this truck was, but it was not worth the time or money, next time i'll just order Benihana to go lol. The truck also had no visible menu, only a QR code to scan and they were not taking cards, only cash, when most food trucks are the opposite. They had been posting on instagram all day that day so they could've let customers know. They also had a bad system of calling out numbers and the bags were piling up since nobody could hear them. NEVER AGAIN!!! My daughter recommended I go to this truck so I did. Did I already say NEVER AGAIN?? The girl at the counter is rude! She has no customer service skills at all. I get she's young, but that's no excuse. Her entire vibe is horrible! So I get there a little after 7 pm to order and there's like 7-8 people ahead of me. Possibly 9-10 because I did see other cars with people in them. First, I am told there is no fried rice only white rice. In my mind I'm like, I can go down the street to Panda Express If I wanted white rice. I came for Hibachi. So I settled for plain garlic noodles. I was told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. But I was only told that after I paid. Truth be told if I were told that prior to paying, I would not have swiped my card. But I digress. I waited 30 minutes and went back to retrieve my food and the young, rude girl was like "You're going to have to wait a while longer." I asked why and she basically told me my order was number 14 and they were only on number 3!!!! "Number 3??" "Number 14??" What that what?!! Noooo! Give me my money back and I'll take my business elsewhere. If you think I'm sitting around for over an hour for garlic noodles, or fried rice you have lost your mind. Especially when Panda and Blue Saigon are right down the street. Here is some unsolicited advice; 1. Make time to prep and cook what you can prior to coming to Pittsburg. 2. Hire a second cook! There's no way you open at 7 pm and you don't have fried rice at 8 pm. You all need to restrategize. 3. If the young lady is reading this, you need better customer service skills.
