Hank's Bagel's effortlessly enters my top bites of 2024. Bagels with cream cheese are one of my absolute most favorite meals, and Hank's managed to exceed every single one of my expectations. Every single step of my experience at Hank's was truly exceptional and noteworthy.
The sourdough bagels at Hank's are made fresh daily. The smell of the bagels immediately hugs you in the absolute warmest and best possible way the second you enter their deli. They offer two menus, one that allows you to build your own bagel and another that offers you a curated list of bagel sandwiches crafted by the team. I chose to keep it simple today with an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. You know you have something special in front of you when the simplicity blows you away.
The bagel was perfect. The crunch, doughiness, and freshness of the bagel stopped me in my tracks upon first bite. Hank's does not skimp on the everything coating, and they coat every single part of that delicious bagel. The scallion cream cheese is divine - savory, creamy, tangy, and an absolute banger of a hand-crafted cream cheese. There was plenty of cream cheese for every single inch of the bagel. I am simply blown away and cannot overstate this enough.
The service provided by Mikey was one-of-kind, genuine, and remarkable. His energy and kindness echoed throughout the entire deli as he greeted me in. He answered every single possible question that I could have, giving me samples of various cream cheeses before I committed. I haven't had service like the one Mikey has provided to me in a while.
This is the best bagel I have ever eaten hands down. Mikey's energy made my already perfect dining experience even better.
