To be honest , had higher expectations . Have had sourdough bagels in the past from other places and these just didn't hit the mark. Purchased everything, poppy and sesame and although the toppings were different, the actual dough was the same. At $3.00 a bagel, they didn't have much flavor and were quite dense. Person working the counter was helpful as far as taking my order and the place was clean. Parking available in the strip mall lot.

Yum! Finally got to try this place after having it on my list forever--and it totally lived up to the hype! I had the onion bagel with scallion cream cheese and fresh tomato slices. Simple combo, but so flavorful and satisfying. The staff was super friendly and the whole place has a great vibe. I already spotted a few other things I want to come back for. Can't wait for my next visit!

Hank's is a true gem! Great location with plenty of parking. Always friendly service. There is also a bunch of seating outside. My favorite part about Hank's is their wide variety of options as well as their coffee. Seriously some of the most unexpectedly delicious cold brew I've ever had. Last weekend I ordered the cinnamon raisin bagel with apple pie cream cheese (I know crazy order but it shows the menu's variety). My one gripe is how tough/chewy the bagels are. I do like a bit of a chew comparable to a New York bagel but I've noticed having to tug to bite a piece off. If this was fixed, 5/5 stars!

4+ bagel shop located in a strip mall in Calabasas. I've been to their other location in Burbank/Toluca Lake, but this is my first time at this location. I crashed at a friend's house on New Year's Eve and this was in the neighborhood. I thought it would be perfect to go grab some bagels for the crew. Especially since I'm a big fan of their rosemary sea salt bagels. Shop I think is a little smaller than the other location, but it feels like it's the usual size of a grab and go bagel shop. The people here very friendly and they were efficient because there was quite a line at opening to grab bagels that morning. A lot of people had the same thing I had in mind lol I just got a variety of bagels, including a few of the rosemary sea salt, cause I thought my friend la should definitely try that. I got a couple of the schmears as well. These were definitely a hit with the group. If you're looking for great bagels in a convenient, grab and go location, this is the spot. There was plenty of parking at least in the morning because there's a pretty sizable lot allocated to the strip mall

As the year winds down and we step into 2025, I can't help but think that comfort food will be a recurring theme for the new year. Of course, moderation is key--because let's face it, carbs have a way of making the journey from the lips to the hips. But if you're going to indulge in some carbs, let me recommend Hank's Bagels in Calabasas. I've already sung their praises once, but a month later, I have to say it again: the staff is phenomenal. Friendly, knowledgeable, and full of good energy--it's rare to find a bagel shop where the employees are in such high spirits, but you'll experience just that at Hank's. For fellow bagel lovers, this place is a must-visit. And for my vegan friends, you'll be happy to know that Hank's is 97% vegan. While the egg and cheese bagels aren't, nearly everything else is. They even carry Follow Your Heart vegan cream cheese, so you can treat yourself to a delicious snack without compromise. If you love bagels as much as I do, make a stop at Hank's in Calabasas. It's worth every bite!

By far the best bagel I've had in the LA area--it even got the stamp of approval from my friend from New Jersey. I ordered a plain untoasted bagel with avocado and scallion cream cheese. It came out fast and tasted delicious. The space is small but it was clean and simple. We ate outside, and an employee saw some of us were standing and quickly gave us more chairs. He was very kind. I recommend!

Lovely little shop tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza in Calabasas, across from the Commons. I was in the area because I worked out at the nearby F45 this morning. The place was a tad small but there is seating outside. The staff was friendly and the options a plenty. Paid $12.08 for two plain bagels with plain cream cheese toasted (including 15% tip). Feels steep but the food was good and you expect an elevated cost in this area.

I placed the order Saturday morning for 5 sandwiches via Doordash and they were delivered very quickly. On the Doordash app, you can only choose large size for most of the sandwiches. Only the Italian had the small option. That sucks as I was planning to order mostly small sandwiches, but this forced me to order mostly large sizes. All of the large sandwiches were $15.95, and the small Italian was $12.50. I also ordered two small cannolis for $2.95 each. The meatball sub was still hot when it arrived, and I was seriously impressed by the ginormous size of the meatballs. The bread was barely visible next to the meatballs! See my picture for reference. Most of my friends liked their sandwiches, but the person who got the hot pastrami commented that the pastrami was super bland. I tried a bite and I have to agree. Wouldn't recommend getting this. We each tried a bite of the cannoli afterwards. It was good as well, but I think I'm not a huge fan of cannolis in general. Would probably pass on them next time and stick to the meatball sub.

Ok. I've seen this place online and thought to myself "if I'm ever in Woodland Hills, I'm going…read morehere". Well.....today was the day. It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

The family vibe is very present and the impressive bulletin board (Cricca's Community) really brings out the neighborhood feel of the place. It's better than the yellow pages, offering everything from handyman services and guitar lessons, to divorce attorneys and mobile RV repair. But I digress. Did I mention how massive the sandwiches are?! I went with the two most popular items on the menu, starting off with the Al Capone (hot Pastrami, double meat, on crusty bread). This is an excellent sandwich, and the meat is pretty lean - not a lot of fat). I also ordered the Godfather (cold Italian Sub - Roast Beef, Turkey, Ham, Capocollo, Salami, Pepperoni, Swiss Cheese and Provolone). Also, delicious. You rarely get turkey and roast beef in an Italian sub - so good. The service was very friendly and helpful. There are a few indoor tables, in case you can't wait for that first bite. I wish I lived closer so I can visit more often; I would be here all the time. Definitely one of the best sandwiches in LA. If you haven't been to Cricca's, then you don't know sandwiches.
