Listen I'm a saucy girl so I like saucy food. Big chunks of meat without liquid surrounding them just doesn't do it for me. For this reason, visiting Germany was sometimes a struggle. I discovered Pollo Saltado on the menu at Alpaca and I went for it. It's big chunks of chicken, rice, tomatoes, over French fries (like huge steak fries) and it's lightly sauced and fabulous. It's a little salty and a friend said it reminded her of hibachi with a light teriyaki sauce - I'd say that was a pretty good assessment but a lot less sweet and having no traces of alcohol taste.
