When I'm waiting for some audio install in Crestwood, I'm always hungry. I mean, I am always hungry but more so when I'm waiting. Choices today were this place and The Apple Beeeees and since I didn't have a taste for being ignored 90% of the time with the addition of subpar bar food, I figured I'd skip next door and come here. The atmosphere was great! Service was fantastic! The food? Meh... the loaded baked potato soup was right up my alley comfort food deliciousness. I ordered twelve of the boneless wings. These things are HUGE! Unfortunately, I practically needed a woodcutting saw to get through them. Just the right amount of crisp on the outside but like shoe leather on the inside. I washed them down with a blue cheese dressing and some orange juice (I mean blue moon) and was mostly content. I'm picky with wings but when a friend joined me, I secretly couldn't wait to share the horror that were these wings. She tried to bite into it. Nope! Tried to tear them apart. Nope! I dare say I was quite entertained! But at $15 dollars for 12, I would have rather had $15 dollar popcorn and a slushee at the movies. So not worth it in the current state. I don't want to drown my food in dressing (okay maybe I do) but I want some juiciness and tenderness with my wings. Make em moist baby! Sadly though, these left much to be desired.
I for sure will go back. I had read that the wings were not so great there but I wanted to hope for more. I'll stick to the other reviewers recommendations perhaps next time if I know what's good for me or if I want to keep my teeth intact. read more
