Second time dining with osteria but finally eating at the dekalb market hall location located in basement level. I dined at the flagship location and was impressed with the flavors and delegate house made pastas. My go to at most legit Italian eateries are gnocchi bolognese. Osteria's gnocchi is bigger than usual but it melts in your mouth. Consistent for sure. The carbonara was actually made well. Had to add more pepper but balanced dish. The blueberry gelato was light and semi sweet. Not over powering. The chef made all dishes in an open kitchen with dining tables surrounding. There's even a fire pizza oven there. You'll get the most for the prices. Michelin guided eatery that's one of my favorite Italian eateries in Brooklyn. While shopping in the market, take a break and eat at Osteria. read more
