The majority of our food last evening was very good and our waitress was fabulous. The Square was super busy when we arrived at the restaurant and we were lucky to get a table near the front of the restaurant, especially so my mom (who has mobility problems) didn't have to walk very far.
We all began with gumbo, and most were excellent, my however had rock hard rice. It was inedible. We flagged down our waitress and she was quick to get me a new cup -- much better!
Our table ordered two shrimp po-boys (both without ketchup) and one peacemaker which is a combination of oyster, crawfish, & shrimp po-boy. All three sandwiches were very good.
I'm still giving four stars, but only because an average of 3.6 isn't an option. If I had come by myself, and received the exact meal I received tonight, I would have given this place only three stars. They got the bump since my dining companions both agreed their meals were worthy of 4 stars. read more
