I rode the ACE train from the Livermore station to San Jose. It arrived on time, was very clean and a fantastic way to travel. I noticed there was a security person walking around the Livermore station which was unexpected and nice. I paid $10.25 for one way. I elected to ride in a car with lights on so I could stay awake and enjoy the scenery. There were several people using the tables to work on their laptops. You can sit in a section with 4 seats facing each other and a table in between or 2 seats together with no table. They do have the cars at the rear with lights off in case you want to sleep. It appeared to be about 80% full in my car and a lot of folks got off in Santa Clara to hop on the various buses to get to work. A great experience overall! read more
