Ethiopian food is my absolute fave and one of the reasons I was excited to move back to Denver, as there is no shortage of great Ethiopian eats in the 303. Amid this COVID era, I was excited to find that Addis Ababa delivers to me. We've ordered it twice so far and have had very solid experiences.
At any Ethiopian restaurant, I tend to go for the veggie and meat combos, as I really do love everything on the menu and this is a solid way to try it all. If I had to play favorites, I'd say that the kik alicha (split yellow peas), atakilt wot (cabbage, carrots, and potatoes), split red lentils, and beef tibs are the offerings you have to fight me for. One veggie plus one meat combo is enough for my husband and I to end up more than full. We usually start with vegetable sambusas as well. It all ends up around $40 which is a good deal in my book.
I would definitely love to check out this restaurant IRL once the pandemic is behind us but for now, I'm thankful I can get their tasty eats delivered right to me! read more
