As I was walking through the International Market Place, I ran into Aesop's newly opened store. Their first Hawai'i location is at the Ala Moana Center. I wasn't familiar with this Australian skin, hair and body care products that focuses on the finest quality plant-based and laboratory made ingredients. The salesperson was very friendly and offered to show me some skin care products. He explained their approach for using topical anti-oxidants as they fortify the skin. The design of this store is reminiscent of an apothecary shop or compounding pharmacy. Their products are laboratory tested for efficacy and purity. Aesop "marries" globally sourced ingredients with advanced technology and scientific practices to craft formulations that can be customized to the customer's needs. I didn't purchase anything that evening but, I'd certainly look into some formulations that could help improve my skin care regimen. read more
