The reviews of this restaurant are accurate! I finally got around to visiting Alladin today and my boyfriend and we are so glad we did! Excellent value and really tasty food! My guy got a chicken shwarma sandwich and I got the falafel sandwich. His was absolutely loaded with meat, and the style of bread really holds up with all those filings (meat, pickles, lto). I had never tried this Iraqi style bread before and I think it's pretty much perfect for sandwiches (hearty on the outside but not tough to bite into, soft and airy on the inside). As for my falafel, they were warm and had a nice crispy texture when I bit into them (topped with amba sauce, pickles, lettuce and onions). This was some of the best falafel I have had in a while. We ordered a side of hummus too, which was pretty good, but should have ordered something to dip in it (bread or chips perhaps) - it didn't come with any, but that's our mistake. So glad to have more than one option for Middle Eastern food on this side of the city! We will definitely be trying more things from this menu in the future. read more
