So we see a sign for .99 each for big milk chocolate bars with hazelnut spread/paste. We grab a bunch and then see a sign for same item on end cap for $1.49 each. We take the bars to the scanner and they both ring up for $1.39. This is deceptive and shady practice. My husband was putting the seven bars back and I said "No, they have a sign for .99 cents on milk chocolate, almond and dark chocolate and they are going to give us the .99 cent price or I will make a stink". So we go to register, they ring up $1.39 each and I said to cashier that the "sign says .99 cents."
Cashier goes back to chocolate and pulls all three tags for .99 and gives us the chocolate at .99 cents.
I have been ripped off here before and now I always watch and check my receipts. No confidence in their shelf pricing. read more
