Seriously not impressed. Most of the packaged products are their own brand. Problem is none of their packaged products tell you what the country of origin is or where the the products are made. I WILL NOT EVEN PURCHASE DOG FOOD FOR MY PETS IF I DON'T KNOW THE COUNTRY IT IS MADE IN. As a consumer I feel entitled to know this info. Their brand name products just tell you where it's distributed from in Illinois which means nothing.
Milk, eggs and a few other items may be less expensive than Kroger, HEB or Walmart but I've found so many other items way pricier especially at my second visit. Even the limited amount of fruit and veggies are pricier than the above mentioned stores.
I went to stock up on tp, paper plates and Kleenex. I went to Kroger's later to find out that I over paid on the Kleenex and paper plates at Aldi. Plus the Kleenex was also a softer quality at Kroger's. read more
