Good Prices! New store - very nice. Really like the vegetable prices... Debit card or cash - no checks or credit cards. (have a quarter ready for the shopping cart...)

aldi spring has always been a 'breath of fresh air,' when compared with other stores in the immediate area.

I really love saving money on groceries at the store. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I have to bag my own groceries.

Why 5 stars? Because this was a fun family outing…read more --- --- --- I drove by Atkinson Farm a year or two ago and always had it in the back of mind as a place to visit, ever since. Recently, we saw them share on Facebook that they had some strawberries ready for picking and we basically hopped out of bed and headed over there. You pay $3 per person and $2 per bucket to enter. My wife waited in life while I took our son to play on the playground, which he really enjoyed. Once she was done, we headed back to the strawberries. There were several areas you could choose from, and it was pretty obvious which areas had been picked over already and which hadn't. Some sections would only have a few decent strawberries, while others were full of only the biggest and brightest. We nearly filled up two buckets and it was only $24. Sure, we had to pick them and wash them, but we had enough strawberries to last us an eternity. And they were pretty tasty too. The market where you pay for the berries after also had other various produce items and meats. I added on a jar of pickles on top of the strawberry haul. We will probably have to make this an annual tradition!

Looking for farm-fresh produce? Local honey? Homemade preserves? This is THE place…read more I have been coming here for years. As soon as they open in the spring until closing at the end of August, I am here at least twice per week. There is nothing like the taste of locally grown, pesticide-free produce: *Corn is absolutely delicious. Worth the extra cost, and remember that these will not be picture-perfect ears because no pesticides are used. Snap off or cut off the top if you find a little worm and remember that this is what you do in exchange for natural produce. *Watermelons are addictive. Scrumptious! *Cantaloupe: sugar-sweet. Grab it when they get it, otherwise you'll miss them because they sell fast! *Red potatoes are WAY better than what you'll get in the grocery store. These reds make hands-down the best mashed potatoes you will ever eat. *Tomatoes (either from their farm or other local farms): nothing like what you get in any grocery store. These ARE tomatoes. *Squash: zucchini, butternut, acorn, gold bar and others. The flavors explode in your mouth! *Eggplant: the regular or Japanese (when they have it) variety has the most distinct flavor whether you're making parmesan, grilling it or frying it. *Greens: kale and other greens. Super tender! *Cabbage: makes the best coleslaw you will ever eat. Stock up on local honey before the end of summer, too. Honey lasts forever, and they will be sold out come August. Support local business! Super-friendly staff and phenomenal produce. You can't go wrong.

On Tuesday, I was looking for a local farmers market close to me I found this place. I read. The reviews and I was like wow good reviews I have to go. I honestly did not experience the ambiance I read in the reviews. I was a bit confused because they had a very select few of stuff they've grown and stuff was from other places. I spent like $15 bucks and I was so happy. The same day the carrot got these big knots on it and I didn't understand why then on Wednesday the entire carrots turned black as you can see the pictures. Not to mention the cabbage turned yellow. I don't know why this happened and I'm very disappointed, but I will not be returning to this market.

I see a long line at the artisan bread booth and there's a doggy bakery (lots of people with their doggies). We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a little corner booth selling some fresh chorizo and egg tacos! Oh sooooo delicious. There's another booth that sells coffee and pastries, our favorite is the giant $10 lemonade-OMG we don't ever miss this! The bulgogi is next door and we always get ours to go, you have to try this Korean delight! Fresh organic veggies, artisan soaps and oils, and there's a booth that gives "free advice". A great little hour spent on a fun Saturday morning. There's always a musician strumming his guitar too! Bring your hat and sunscreen! Everyone takes credit cards but I always take cash since sometimes the machines can get glitchy.
