Would give negative stars if possible. The older male employee is rude and inappropriate. He harassed me and my sister when we came in to drop off a dress to be altered, asking us our age, marital status, and telling us multiple times he wanted us to meet and marry his son. The seamstress then butchered my maid of honor gown for my sister's wedding. I requested she hem it to floor length. She placed one pin at the front of multiple layers of material when measuring me, and then clearly made a significant error when cutting the length on her own. The dress was several inches too short, which couldn't be rectified as it was tulle and there is no hem to be let out. No one would pay to get an expensive gown altered to the awkward length she cut. I even kicked off my shoes during the wedding ceremony and it's still obviously too short. I paid $190 for this dress to be ruined for a once-in-a-lifetime moment for our family. I asked for a refund. She refused providing me with any type of compensation and verbatim said she's never made a mistake in her career (which is clearly inaccurate given multiple Yelp reviews citing experiences/errors/rude behavior similar to what I experienced) and said she didn't want to talk to me when I called to try to explain the situation. I hope both the receptionist and the seamstress find their true calling in life as it is evident by their rude, arrogant, and condescending behavior that their current line of work has clearly drained the life out of them. My friends and family in the Santa Cruz area and I will be taking out business elsewhere in the future.
