I am originally from Las Vegas, so there are a handful of amazing tailors. When I moved to Halifax a year ago, I was super nervous I would not be able to find someone great to alter my wedding dress. I found out about Daniel and Alter Ego via Yelp - thank goodness!! Right before my wedding, I lost a considerable amount of weight, so my wedding dress (made of satin) would need to be taken in among other things. I met with Daniel of Alter Ego and he assured me that the dress would hug my body perfectly for the wedding. When I picked up my dress about a week before my Maui wedding, I tried on the altered dress and it hugged my curved perfectly. Not to mention, I felt very sexy yet comfortable in my dress.
