I just want to warn people about how Americans Movers Direct took advantage of my situation. My husband passed away suddenly so I had to move from New Hampshire to Florida. Long story short they came early not the days I had scheduled. I was in Florida at the time. I had paid $500 deposit the day of the move he called saying I owed $2700 when the total was all together $1500. It was just a storage unit. When I said I want a manager I couldn't get one.They came 5 minutes before the storage unit closed so I had to Venmo the money. After two weeks a trailer truck shows up the guy demands another $495 or I can't have my stuff. I had him call his boss who's extremely rude and said if you want your stuff you will have to pay.
