I signed a contract with this company in October 2021, and when the house was sold on 18 July 2024, the painting was still incomplete. The color we selected was not the color we received. The crew at the time checked with the office when we questioned it and gave us the excuse that it just looks lighter when its outside. The quote was for two coats of paint, and I only received one. We can still see the old yellow paint through the brush strokes, and some areas weren't even painted. Areas that are white have blue paint on them, and the front door area has deck stain on the walls. Very sloppy and poor quality of work. The crew also left their equipment in my garage for months. When we finally got them out to complete the touch ups, they asked us for the colors again because they kept no records of what they had used. This is when we confirmed they used the wrong color because we now had two different blues on the house. Their excuse this time was the supplier initially sold them the wrong color. To get the work done before the house was listed, I accepted the wrong color if they completed the touch ups. After multiple attempts they couldn't paint match the color they originally used. It took me contacting the supplier and getting the color they used myself. After all this, they still didn't complete the touch ups. I had to work through four different people at this company. Three of them no longer work there, and the fourth being the consistent problem. When it came time to sell the house, we had an attorney attempt to get us a refund via a letter. The company's response was a threat to call my work and claim I was committing fraud while representing the military. Unfortunately, I ran out of time in the area, and I couldn't take them to a small claims court. Very unprofessional company and I caution anyone who uses them. Attached are only a few of the pictures I took showing the low quality of work. If you do find yourself using this company, here are my lessons learned: 1. Have them put the square footage of the area being painted on the quote. 2. Have them provide you an itemized list of labor and supplies. 3. When you can see the square footage and the amount of supplies/paint they are using, a simple google search can tell you if they are using enough paint to give you the quoted coats. A legitimate business should have no problem providing this information. 4. Pay the deposit and 50% to get it started, but do not pay the other 50% until all work is completed to your expectations. 5. Shop around and get multiple quotes. If you want quality, expect to pay a little more.
