WOW! I haven't had such flavorful and authentic Mexican food like this in a very long time. All food was plated beautiful, their handmade tortillas are delicious. We had a molcajete, all sooo good. The asada, chicken, chorizo, everything in there had such amazing flavor. Honestly, just everything overall was so tasty. The Jamaica and Tamarindo aguas frescas, delicious. The chicken tamale, delicious. The potato taquitos, so flavorful. The sopes, were fried in a red sauce (similar to pambazos if you're familiar with them) so so good. And to top it off, we had the buñuelos with ice cream, WOW. So so so good. I was so surprised to hear they had them as this is such a traditional Mexican dessert that I've never seen a restaurant have before. Think funnel cake but thin and flaky. And this is during their soft opening. Seriously run, don't walk, before they get packed. Because I know they will blow up. The owners are also so so friendly.
