I loved discovering this antique store on Main Street in Bartow during the recent Bartow Bloomin Arts Festival. Old Florida towns have the best treasure stores. According to their Facebook Page they specialize in "antiques, vintage, painted furniture and curiosities." Everything was attractively displayed and there was so much to look at in one large room and another side room. Everything was clearly marked and prices were very reasonable ranging from only a few dollars to much more expensive items. They even had a half off table. Some of my favorite items were an antique school desk, a set of 1950's Libbey wine glasses, an antique muffin tin, and a small ceramic bird for only a few dollars. The sweetly patterned aprons would make a great gift for any cook. The store holds antique fairs on the second Saturday of every month. Check the store website for updates. read more
