I felt like a taco today and I remember Antojitos had good tacos. I haven't been to Antojitos in a couple of years, but not much has changed. Well, the prices have gone up, like everywhere else. Tacos are $3.99 each for a basic street taco, which is the going rate in the area.
You order and pay up at the counter, then take a seat until the food comes out. The clerk was a little frustrated today that I did not speak Spanish. But we managed to order a couple of chicken tacos. The menu is a mixture of Spanish and English. I like that they only speak Spanish, I feel like the experience is authentic.
The dining room has about 10 tables/booths. There was some nice Latin music playing, but there was also a tv that was blasting a talk show where people were arguing. The sounds were a little unsettling.
The food came out fairly quickly and the tacos were steaming. They were as good as I remember, garnished with radish and lime on the side.
They offer daily specials. My friend says the breakfasts are delicious.
The place is not fancy. There is plenty of parking in front. read more
