Visited Aplaya the Beach Bar & Italian Food on my first night in Boracay after checking in at the hotel. Perfect place for a "safe arrival" toast by the beach! What we ordered: San Mig Light Beer - my first time trying it! Very popular in the Philippines, light and refreshing, just like many Southeast Asian beers. Margherita Pizza - a bit plain at first, but adding garlic oil made it taste dramatically better. Fried Chicken - crispy, salty, and perfect with beer. Fried Calamari - seasoned just right and a great snack with drinks. The staff were super friendly and welcoming which made the whole experience even better.
