Our party of 12 got accommodated on the 2nd floor partitioned room, which had more space than the crowded ground floor. It had a beach view, but it didn't really matter with the moonless and cloudy night sky. Aplaya has lighting and decor, which looks really good in photos. We sipped through the refreshing happy hour BOGO Mai Tai, Sex on the Beach and Mojito. The group consisted of three families, so we pretty much ordered stuff to each his own. Our entrees were the Blackened Seafood Risotto 4/5, Mango and Shrimp Salad 5/5 and a Four Cheese Pizza 5/5. The salad was just enough for dinner to accompany the cocktails I've had. Great service and location. Truly a nice resto-bar within the Station 1 area of Boracay's White Beach.

We were looking for a place to have dinner having been disappointed by the restaurant we had wanted to go to nearby. My sister suggested Aplaya as she had read about it. When we got there, we were warmly welcomed and also greeted by the owner. We sat upstairs which was nice and bright. I had the tuna tartare as my starter and the tuna onion pizza as my main. Both dishes were very good. The waitress was nice, having to go up and down the stairs due to an issue with the wine that we wanted not being available. Overall, a nice atmosphere for dinner on the beach.

    Spaghetti Carbonara delicious!

Good food, great atmosphere! Near the middle of station 2, making it very central. Service was good, and the restaurant was fairly clean. Looks like a good place to get Drinks at night!

Good Italian food, which is surprising for being in the Phils. Pricey as it is custom here to overcharge the tourists on White Beach. Good spot for people watching. Hookah is offered at the bar so if you don't like smoke, this place is not for you.

I was in boracay for 8 nights and I visited Aplaya 6 times! Loved the beach vibe, the drinks, food and location. The pizza is especially delicious - really authentic and light. Aplaya has happy hour (which is really happy hourS) from 4-9pm each night. You can get 2-4-1 San Miguel lights. Ideal for the boracay heat! Staff are friendly. Music is very Ibiza-esque (house). Toilets are relatively clean. You can order a sisha (so?) pipe if that's your thing. If you're on white beach make sure to check out aplaya!

Great place at station one. The area outside at the beach has a great atmosphere. Good to know the DJ there is mixing Deephouse to Techhouse and no fucking mainstream boom boom Techno. You can order Italian food there. The quality is very good and the value for money is great. Try a pizza. It's delicious! The selection of drinks is huge. From a beer over cocktails, shakes & smoothies to simple water. The staff is well organizied and they have fun by doing thair job! GREAT PLACE! MUST DO :)

Walking along the strip of restaurants and shops at the beach of Station 2 in Boracay, Mom spotted…read moreDon Vito's s sign, advertising that they were serving Bibingka (Filipino baked rice cake cooked in banana leaves) and Puto Bumbong (Filipino purple rice cake steamed in bamboo tubes). Mom had to stop by for the latter, one of her favourite Filipino sweets traditionally sold during the Christmas season. I, myself, was a little surprised that such Filipino cakes were being offered at an Italian restaurant, but, hey, we were in a tourist area of the Philippines, so why not, I figured. After an all-day land tour of Boracay, we had some time to kill before meeting up with a friend for dinner. This is when I accompanied Mom to Don Vito Ristorante Italiano to pick up her coveted Puto Bumbong. We arrived shortly before 7:15 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, and were seated in the front patio while we awaited the to-go order. No tables were occupied in the outdoor dining area, but I could see that there were a few customers dining inside. Overall, the venue appeared to be clean and well kept. The waitress who took our order knew that we were not staying to dine in. Still, she was kind enough to serve to us a complimentary plate of toasted bread and dipping sauce to nibble on while we awaited our one-item order. I believe that the ramekin of dipping sauce was some kind of balsamic vinegar-based dressing. I tried one bite of the bread with sauce. I was not a fan. After about a ten-minute wait, the server brought to us the order of Puto Bumbong (Php 150, 2 pcs), already boxed up for take-out. Immediately, Mom was dismayed by the shredded cheese that topped the cylindrical rice cakes. She expected them to be slathered with butter and sprinkled with sugar and coconut, just as the sign described. She was turned off by the condensed milk and grated cheese which she tried to scrape off. It was too late, though. The cakes were ruined and so was Mom's experience. The kind waitress offered to have them remade, but Mom declined because she thought that we were pressed for time. Not sure why they would add unexpected ingredients to a dish and neglect to offer the option of adding them instead of assuming that they would be agreeable to customers. Hope that the restaurant learned a lesson here. Needless to say, Don Vito's disappointed Mom big time.
