This is located in Ashburn, where the old Red Robin used to be. They used the same Signature handles on the front doors as Red Robin.
Their menu consists of South Indian specialties, rice/noodle dishes, veg/non-veg entrees, desserts, etc. We ordered the following:
Lemon chicken tikka - this was hot, mildly spicy, delicious, but on the salty side.
Spicy chicken vindaloo - asked for spicy, but wasn't terribly spicy but it was tasty and this came with rice.
Butter bourbon cake - very moist, melt in your mouth, the ice cream wasn't necessary as it was good on its own.
Molten lava chocolate cake - devoured by kids within minutes.
The restaurant is very large with plenty of seating and elegantly decorated. The chairs are similar to those used at the Aldie location.
The service was interesting. They were eager to take the order and were standing there while we were browsing the menu. Once the food came, they were still lined up against the wall, but not clearing the table as dishes were finished. We ordered dessert with extra spoons and we had to ask for additional plates. Since they didn't clear the table, we ate dessert around all the dishes.
Would I return? Probably read more
