Worst sub contractor from my pool project. We had the unfortunate luck of having Armando assigned to our Tile and coping. He chipped more than 70% of our tiles rushing to get the cuts completed. And still cemented them on. Thankfully we caught them all and addressed it with our project manager. Armando was sent out again to "make it right" a second time. The second time he cemented a completely different color (came from a new batch). How he didn't catch this just baffles me. 3rd visit out Tony the supervisor came with Armando and noticed some of the new tiles (3rd batch) were still different from the initial tiles. Armando and his partner again placed more chipped tiles along with 2 anorexic sized tiles that did not match or blend with the others. A 4th batch was ordered (this time Lorenzo the owner came to the site) and once again it was a different color with only a handful matching the original. At this point I asked for a completely new team to be sent out to complete the job. I had to switch out the original tiles and basically start over. read more
