Poor customer service from an old Caucasian lady (cashier). I went in to purchase a muffin (was gonna leave back to gate). I left my water bottle on their table as I went up to the counter to ask for a muffin. Cashier lady was mopping (no one in the store, except for a guy at the bar). I asked if I can get a muffin. She ignored me, had her back to me, and didn't answer me at all. Then she finally went behind the counter and asked me rudely if she can help me. I told her what I wanted. Then my 8 y/o child followed me up to the counter, and that's when the cashier lady told me my kid can't be in a bar. I told her "okay", paid for the muffin (she swiped my card roughly) and then I walked to the table to grab my water bottle so I can leave. Before I can grab my bottle, out of nowhere, she confronted me (to my face) that my child can't be there (she ALREADY told me that at the counter). So I grabbed my water and told her, "I know! I'm grabbing my water. We're leaving. I know better than that." And we just walked away. Overall, it was rude customer service. I've never experienced anyone rude and somewhat racist like that in this town that I'm visiting (Spokane) while on my 8 days here. I'm actually disappointed that the airport have such a person like that working there. I'm glad that I don't live in Spokane. I will not be returning to this town again. read more
