The decor is cute and it has the cabin look about it. My friends and I ordered the half flatbread with Caesar salad and I had the lobster bisque soup for my side. The soup was fantastic with large pieces of lobster. The flatbread was dry and needed more sauce or balsamic vinegar drizzled on top. My friend was pouring tabasco on his to add some flavor. I had the huckleberry cosmo and it was delicious. You can't find huckleberry's in Reno. The restaurant had just opened and still asked us to wait 5-6 minutes which I thought was strange. The staff were friendly and plenty of parking. Perfect spot to get a bite to eat prior to going to the airport which is just a couple miles away.

When we landed a week ago it was -11 degrees. Holy shit. Since we're all from California and don't know how to handle anything below 60 degrees, we rushed over to Remington's Restaurant for some hot cocktails. Like always, alcohol did the trick. Their hot apple cider warmed us up quickly! We also ordered a side of fried cheese curds to snack on. These were greasy perfection! Highly recommend this bar if you're looking to escape the airport.

There was one guy at the end of the bar, a couple at table and Becky and I posted up to the other end of the bar. It was eerily quiet in the room. I can't remember if they had any music playing, if they did, turn it up a notch. Service was decent, if not a little weird. There was one woman working, but she wasn't really working behind the bar. It was an order at the counter and take a seat type situation. She was plenty nice, but she was more cashier than bartender. We had two each then bounced. If you're looking for a decent place to eat at the airport, this isn't it. You're better off stopping at a local restaurant before you get there for a better meal and better service for a fraction of the price because the Spokane airport has limited options.

Worst Service Ever I…read morewould not recommend MVP Turf Sports Bar and Grill due to the rude and unfriendly staff I encountered this evening. I had time before my plane to departed and wanted to grab a bite to eat. I waited at the door for 15 minutes and was not acknowledged by the busy staff. After several parties left there were lots of empty seats, so I sat down on one of the barstools to wait to be seated. One of the people employees yelled loudly (the whole restaurant heard and were surprised) "wait by the door, I'll clear the area and seat you!" I ended up leaving and will never visit this restaurant again.

As of late it seems like once I get the idea that I have tried all of the Spokane area breweries…read morethen when I pass through there are new brewery discoveries that I wasn't previously made aware of. West Plains Brewing is one of these and am glad that I became aware of it. The lady that was at the counter was super nice and very congenial to visit with so that was very nice. I was having a difficult time trying to decide out of their beer options as to what to have so I went with a taster set and that was a good choice to have made. I tried four different beers from that taster set and I liked them all very much! One of the beers was the Cerveza Fria which was the brewery's Mexican Lager. It was pleasant and refreshing with a slight biscuity flavor and a crispness to it that is perfect to refresh yourself with on warm days. Another beer I had was the Allegiance which was an Amber beer. It was biscuity also and went down easy where it would be very easy to get more of this beer in one sitting. The third beer I had was the Muddy Boots. I liked the maltiness in this beer. While the beer is rich to drink it also comes across as light bodied which gives it an overall nice balance. The fourth and final beer I had was an Oatmeal Stout by the name of Broken Paddle. I do like Oatmeal Stouts and this one was no exception. The flavors you can enjoy in this one are chocolate, coffee and roasty in the beer. The beer is smooth but also comes across as light bodied which you occasionally see in some stouts. A very nice visit to this brewery and worthy of returns whenever I am back in the area.
