On May 7th my dad wanted to go to this place as they sent out flyers for people winning so much stuff which he knew was a scam or something behind it but decided to go check it out. My dad wanted me to go with him which I felt honored but told my mom laughing that he just wanted me to go to work the GPS -_- Anywho we got to this used car dealership around 6:30pm. We were greeted by this African American man that was scamming about 20 people. My dad and I were surprised by the large turnout. Eventually the dude gave us a scratcher and explained that there are 6 golden nuggets on the scratcher. He explained that if you scratch anything other than the golden nuggets stop and then show him then scratch the ticket off and count the gold nuggets then discard. However if you got a gold nuggets you keep going until you no longer get a gold nugget...then show the guy...do the same thing scratch the whole thing. My dad won a cruise to the Caribbean but apparently they ran out and gave my dad a rip off of a free 4 night hotel stay to your choice on the list but you end up paying more and more...$17 dollars just to register, $35 dollars per night not including resort fees...seriously. Apparently there was a delay on their giveaway section which was suppose to occur at 7pm which delayed until 7:30pm. There appear to be about 60 people now. About 7:15pm they passed out chips to try to hype up the crowd I guess so everyone can leave with something. They did speeches and their offers for purchasing used cars. They informed the crowd that they were going to give away two cars tonight (he didn't only one). They had people who won cars return I guess to share their testimonials which was pretty cool. I guess a lot of people received free cars in the past and came back to test their luck again. They gave out about $800 dollars by drawing 8 peoples names, gave out two TVs and another prize I don't remember. The grand prize was a used 2005 car. I think the owner shared how he is able to give cars away by people upgrading their cars as a trade in. Anywho my dad walked away with a Walmart card (amount unknown), 4 scam night stay and chips. I guess I would come out again because they really do give away money, prizes and cars. My dad said he would not buy a used car but will only do "New" cars...gotta love parents. Nice time to see how used dealerships operates and spending time with my dad. read more
