A very nice independent European auto sales and service company, run by a great German expatriate who was trained in auto repair in Germany before his arrival in the US, and who has been successfully practicing his trade in Hampton for maybe 20 years. I first met Martin when he was still running his repair-only business out of his house, and at that time he concentrated exclusively on Mercedes Benz. Over the years the business has grown, and now is housed in a very nice showroom and repair facility on Pembroke Ave. He now has a a thriving resale business (primarily German cars), and continues in his repair business that now includes working on Mercedes and other German vehicles, as well as a few other higher-end European brands. As the business has grown, Martin has resisted handing over the day-to-day activities of the company to hired employees, especially in regards to his service and repair work. For the service customer, this means that a very competent technical set of eyes and hands will examine your vehicle, and help diagnose and repair the problem, no matter how small. Although I now live too far away from his shop to be a steady customer, it's been a real treat to watch this very talented and pleasant young man grow his business over the years.
