my new favorite spot in westchester! i loved everything about Averna. i got a very warm feeling when i walked in - restaurant feels homey and our waitress, and others, were very friendly and warm. most importantly, the food is delicious! warm complimentary bread was delicious and included my favorite type of bread - walnut raisin. started with the french onion soup, which was totally solid, piping hot, just delicious. had the sea bass for my main and really enjoyed it. shared the chocolate lava cake and caramel toffee cake for dessert. get the caramel toffee cake - it was out of this world! read more
