Bambu has been my girlfriend and I's favorite bubble tea shop on East Broadway; We discovered it last year and couldn't stop coming back whenever we wanted bubble tea! Our first ever drink was mangonada, which is also our favorite drink at this place. At first, we were overwhelmed by the choices they offer. They have many house-made Vietnamese drinks you wouldn't normally see elsewhere. So we asked for the best seller, and this was truly delicious! Very mangoey slush mixed with tajin powder, along with a tamarind straw--what a crazy combo! I'm very happy that they offer to put the toppings on the side if you request it. My girlfriend doesn't like to chew pearls, so I can take a sip of the drink and take a sip of the pearls on the side. We plan to try out every single drink on the housemade drinks list in the upcoming years; let's see if we find a new favorite! read more
