I kind of hesitate to write this review as I love the fact there aren't too many people on the trails, yet I want to credit the estate for preserving this lovely natural park.
My favorite time to come here is late February to early March as when you first arrive are treated to seeing the bright yellow mustard fields. The hike begins with climbing and many steps, but before too long you reach a spot to see the bay (bridges and all) on a clear day. What I love most about this hike is the vast range of landscape & scenery.
I'd recommend walking sticks if you have any knee issues - more for descending than anything. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the winery estate afterwards. read more
