My 18 year old son and I stopped here on our way to Cooperstown because I wanted him to see where I played minor league ball way back in 1989. Dwyer stadium is in the same spot, but it had dramatically changed as a result of major renovations. I still recognized the basic structure, but it no longer has wooden grand stands. The team playing is no longer affiliated with any major league club. They now are home to a college summer wood bat team. Glad my son got to share some memories with me! read more
