After a quick late afternoon of apple picking, we dropped in for dinner in Charlottesville per recommendation.
This casual bar & restaurant also offers an extensive beer and wine selection for consumption on the premises or for retail purchases.
Like I said, we came in for dinner. I had the Pigs In A Blanket. This appetizer/shareable plate was NOT some frozen corn dogs. It was better. 2 foot-long hotdogs cut in half and wrapped in a pastry that was a cross between thin puff pastry and Phyllo, sprinkled with everything seasoning. It came with ketchup and mustard for dipping. I didn't even try the ketchup, but the mustard was awesome.
The hubby ordered the Basque Half Chicken. It was like Hanna Montana... the best of both worlds. Part chicken breast, part dark meat with skin over mashed potatoes. It you're familiar with afrittata but with chicken. For me, it needed a little salt, but I didn't add any on it.
