Wow! Just WOW! We are in the initial planning stages of remodeling our kitchen and possibly front door. We are about two+ years out and given the nature of our House (An Eichler which I describe during my numerous reviews of lighting places) we need to do our diligence otherwise it will simply destroy the gestalt of the house. With these Mid Century Modern homes, changes can be problematic. As part of this diligence we took a trip out to Berkeley Mills. We were blown away. We have some nice pieces in our home but the design and quality of the furniture they are making made our stuff look like we raided an Ikea. Fritz spent time taking my wife around looking at kitchen options and Emerson and I spoke at length about front door options and a bit about the design and customization process. I was also treated to a tour of the huge shop where all of these custom pieces are made. The work is true artistry and the quality is undeniable. They have vaulted to the top of our list for the remodel of our kitchen. read more
