Pulled up to the livestock auction house and thought for sure I was lost. I was starving so am glad that I opened the door and confirmed the existence of this gem.
Walking into the building you wouldn't think much of the place, but once you get into the restaurant you feel like you are in a typical Texas roadhouse. Cozy, warm, homey, and delightful all around.
I asked the waiter if the burger was cooked properly or the Houston style (burnt to a crisp and disgusting). Fortunately, being so far away from Houston, I was assured the burger would be nice and juicy: indeed it was.
Fresh cut, perfectly fried okra alongside a juicy burger made this meal perfect. I wish I could give this place a diamond rating.
Texas Michelin Star Worthy for sure.
Got to meet Billy as well. True gentleman. I'll be back, even though it's a 5 hour round trip visit, this place is nestled amongst some beautiful countryside.
