I grabbed some boba with a couple of friends on our way out of town. After a day at Huntington Beach we wanted something refreshing for the road. We ordered two drinks. I had the brown sugar tea. The prices were not listed. Over seven dollars with tip was a little steep, but it is near the beach so I excused it. The woman at the counter was pleasant and kind and the store looked clean, so I bumped this to two stars. I snapped a picture as I was walking to the car. I took my first sip after we were on our way. I took my third drink a few moments later and the drink was finished. There was so much ice and so little brown sugar I was as disappointed as I have been with a drink in my memory. If I was not already driving away I would have gone back, I have never gone back before. It was maybe a half cup of tea. Maybe. The taste was fine, but it feels like a scam. With mostly tourists they likely get away with it. I take visiting friends to Huntington Beach regularly, we will not be returning here. I wanted so much to like this place. read more
