The pork skewers and churros! Lucky boy!
    Esther JC S.

So my son and I wanted to celebrate my escrow closing, yesterday, and we found this on Yelp! When we got there, we were a little confused to where it was but found it around the corner from where the map takes you. You go through the walkway past the bar and you'll see it on the left. A cute little shop with plants. They have snacks and plants and bottled drinks for sale. But what caught our eyes were the dessert and bobas. We ended up getting the pork skewers which were yummy with the grilled onion and the churros! Then my son got the strawberry smoothie boba and I got the Earl Grey Tea with boba. They ran out of the regular boba so she told me to try the honey sweet one. Not bad. Will come back and try the ice cream cookie or ice cream waffle! Or the taro ice cream! Mmmm! Sounds so yummy!

My fresh drink with too much ice and not enough brown sugar. You can barely see it at the bottom of the cup.

I grabbed some boba with a couple of friends on our way out of town. After a day at Huntington Beach we wanted something refreshing for the road. We ordered two drinks. I had the brown sugar tea. The prices were not listed. Over seven dollars with tip was a little steep, but it is near the beach so I excused it. The woman at the counter was pleasant and kind and the store looked clean, so I bumped this to two stars. I snapped a picture as I was walking to the car. I took my first sip after we were on our way. I took my third drink a few moments later and the drink was finished. There was so much ice and so little brown sugar I was as disappointed as I have been with a drink in my memory. If I was not already driving away I would have gone back, I have never gone back before. It was maybe a half cup of tea. Maybe. The taste was fine, but it feels like a scam. With mostly tourists they likely get away with it. I take visiting friends to Huntington Beach regularly, we will not be returning here. I wanted so much to like this place.

It's a small place inside but there are chairs you can sit and hang out outside. It's not my cup of tea. The milk tea is too sweet and has a different flavor compared to other milk teas that I'm not used to. The service was fast. I was the only one there so the cashier made my drink right after I ordered. The frustrating thing was I bought a bottle of water and was charged $3.23. The boba was about $6 so that's okay. But $3 for water? You got that bottle at Costco for less than a quarter.

There's my spilled, super small, $8 taro tea that I hadn't even taken a sip out of yet

Been coming here for years not for the service, but for the amazing taro boba tea and ice cream. I always tip on top of what I order, the person who works at the front never remembers me although I've been a regular for literally years. My drink was spilled today by accident from another person who was just trying to pet my dog, it was a complete accident. I hadn't even taken a sip of my drink and the woman who works there refused to give me a refill or even fill the drink back up what was lost. She scoffed at me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable when I asked for the tip back that I gave her... she told me "not my fault." it dumbfounds me how I've tipped this woman enough money to pay for this same drink dozens of times over the years but she wouldn't refill it after it was spilled not even 2 minutes after receiving it? Never coming here again. Really bums me out because I actually did love this place. I now understand why it is always completely empty. And if anyone who owns a business is curious to know how you lose a loyal customer of years, that is how.

    a room full of plants

Plants and boba.. what more could you want? This small boba shop is located in downtown Huntington. It's hidden between two buildings and can be a little tough to find. Inside you'll find floor to ceiling plants, including fan-favorites and even a few rarities! All the plants are for sale if you're looking to expand your collection. I ordered a Watermelon tea with boba and light ice. This beverage was lightly sweetened and the perfect way to end my night.

Was able to make me a strawberry lemonade even tho it wasn't on the menu. They also have plants for sale ! Service was fast and friendly.

    So many houseplants

Was wandering down Main Street when we saw a sign advertising for boba at a place called Bobasaur pointing down one of the side streets. Of course we had to check it out. After following the signs for a few more turns, came across this place. It's tucked away in a smaller side street so without the signs or google maps to navigate, can be tough to find. Super cute vibes!!! Mom and pop kind of shop. Owner was warm and friendly; they sell tons of house plants lining the shelves and I was so tempted to take one home. Drinks/boba are nothing to write home about: ordered the taro milk tea which was a little too sweet (even when asking for 50% sugar adjustment). Was told the the drink had no caffeine which is bizarre because what kind of tea are they using then? Likely made from powder mix. The menu is very basic and classic.

Milk tea with Boba.. mainly ice and about 4-6 oz of fluid
    Dee V.

$6.99 for a milk tea with boba. As you can see the fluid was like 4-6 oz and it was all ice. Never ever going back to pay for overpriced ice

    Devoney A.

Honestly boba wasn't great but it was pretty average...the whole experience here was weird. Crazy expensive for very mediocre boba and when we asked for light ice they purposefully put less liquid in so the cup wasn't even full. No music playing inside and they are selling lots of other snacks while they should be focusing on making better boba. they have such a good location I wish they would make better boba drinks!

Fruit teas are absolutely delicious, service is good, and it's just a cute place overall.

Possibly my least favorite spot in HB. Couldn't even find a trashcan. Large is a medium, I order coffee and get milk tee.

[Parking]: Large and free parking plaza and I had no issue finding an available parking spot. [Atmosphere]: A pretty quiet cafe and I saw a group of people having a study session. They have one unisex restroom. [Menu]: Unfortunately they ran out of Matcha Green Tea Mille Crêpe Cake when I came here on Sunday at 3 PM. The top Yelp highlighted drinks are #11 Houses Milk Tea (house special blended black tea, creamer & boba), #1 Pacific Sunrise (white tea, hibiscus, mint leaves and orange), #2 Strawberry Twist (jasmine tea, strawberry & lime juice), and #3 Lychee Oolong (oolong tea & lychee puree). *** Pacific Sunrise (white tea, hibiscus, mint leaves and orange - $4.95): Somewhat refreshing drink with an interesting combo, but unfortunately the drink didn't hit the spot. As few other Yelpers had stated, this drink tasted a bit watered-down but personally the water-to-tea ratio was passable. No pun intended, but this drink is not everyone's cup of tea. *** I can't say it was a superb experience given (1) they ran out of Matcha Green Tea Mille Crêpe Cake 5 hours before closing time and (2) the drink tasted mediocre.

I got the house milk tea like I always do but I personally think the taste has changed. I got my drink at 75% sweet but it was so sweet I struggled to finish the drink. It was a lot more like 100% at some other boba shops. The boba was also just okay. The strawberry twist was decent and nice on a hot day. If you prefer sweeter drinks, this place might be more up your alley.

I honestly can't imagine how sweet it would be at 100%. The boba was a little too chewy for my preference, and I've definitely had better elsewhere. The drink was reasonably priced at $5.75, so it didn't feel overpriced. One thing I appreciated was that there is parking behind the building near the back entrance, which made it easy to get in and out. They also have a few small two-person tables inside. I was able to grab a seat, enjoy my milk tea, and spend some time reading my book while I was there. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't memorable enough for me to come back. Glad I tried it, but there are other boba shops I prefer.
