I recently ordered a Tripleta sandwich (three meats, steak, pernil and ham on a long flat roll with lettuce, tomato, etc.) and a Papas Rellenas by Door Dash. Sometimes, when you have a great version of a sandwich, less good versions of the sandwich eaten around then suffer by comparison. Such is the case with the Borinquen Tripleta. The meat wasn't as good as the other sandwich. The toppings weren't as good. The bread wasn't managed as well. The sandwich was fine. Average. But since Borinquen is near the other place, I wouldn't order a Tripleta from there again. I might try them for bakery goods. The Papas Rellanas, a fried mashed potato ball stuffed with seasoned ground beef, was pretty good. 3 Stars read more
