I love bed and breakfasts. The best ones are updated and clean while maintaining the charm and character of the older homes they were built in. We stayed in room #1 and I loved it. The room is centered around a large, king bed with comfy sheets and fluffy pillows. The room has a ceiling fan and an A/C that makes the room perfectly cold. The bed is surrounded by beautiful windows that give you great light throughout the day and with the shades, good sleep too. Bathroom is newly updated and very clean. The room is right next to the main entrance which I was a tiny bit worried about but it didn't bother us one bit. The breakfast room is large and open all day. It's not a hot breakfast but they offer things like fruit, yogurt, scones, etc. They put out snacks and baked goods for you to enjoy after breakfast and the coffee/tea bar is open all day too! The property itself is impeccably manicured with beautiful landscaping. There's a hammock next to a cute tiny pond and lilacs everywhere which is amazingly fragrant during May. The porch is lovely and I'd sit out there all day if I could. Great spot for remote work too. Overall, great stay and I will return for sure! read more
