I am such a fan of Breadhive Bakery & Cafe and have been since their early days at the local Farmer's Markets. I was delighted to return to their brick & mortar store/restaurant on Connecticut Street when I was in town around the holidays. Of course, I can't pass up a lox sandwich so I obviously ordered The Britney - lemon, scallion, & dill cream cheese, cucumber, onion, and smoked salmon - and it did not disappoint. The service was on point, even after a little hiccup regarding types of bagels available/inventory. I also thoroughly the hipster/community vibe including a Little Free Library of sorts as well as plenty of fun Breadhive merchandise. There's also cream cheese and other great accoutrements available for purchase. I will happily return to Breadhive again and again! read more
