I apparently died and woke up in sno-ball heaven!! This place is out of this worldly delicious!!!
What separates them? Here's the scoop.
I left the 5th largest storm in Chi- town history. 19+ inches of snow and daily sightings of cars stuck in snow or swerving in an attempt to navigate the mess. That said, I should cringe at the sight of the mere resemblance of snow or anything with the name snow in it, at least for the next few weeks.
Well, Bubbie's is the exception. I would eat the sno-ball during a storm with joy down in my heart. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we circled back there for a second dose in the same day. And guess what??? We were not alone. We ran across another patron who was present during our visit earlier and when we made eye contract, we both laughed.
Bubbie's has a nice variety of treats. Bubble tea, sno-balls, milkshakes, soft serve ice cream, root beer floats, lemonade, nachos, hot dogs and quite a few Blue Bell ice cream offerings. It is not your typical sno-ball spot because the storefront is inside of a strip mall and there's a decent amount of seating. The staff members (husband and wife) are passionate about their craft and will allow you to sample a flavor if you are having trouble deciding on an item.
