For sheer experience it was amazing! I love that there were signs which said 'are we there yet' and showing how far the place was and which exit to take as we drove up. It was a long ways for us and he didn't like it but he brought me. So vast inside. It was crazy. I didn't know where to look first. Had made a list so I didn't go crazy buying everything so I knew which snacks I wanted. And of course a sliced brisket sandwich. I like that everything I looked at had a price so I didn't have to guess and the displays were pretty. Will at the jerky counter was friendly and made the experience of picking out jerky flavors less stressful. He wasn't in a hurry and took his time helping me even as other customers came by.
The restroom area was clean and nicely decorated. The women's restroom had fold down changing tables for babies. And stalls were lit green if they were vacant. Well stocked. They had a sanitizer for the toilet seat and handle. And hand sanitizer inside the stall.
Was I overwhelmed with the number of people everywhere and the merchandise choices? Yes. Would I return? Yes! It's so clean and I like the items they have on sale - everything from snacks for a road trip to home decor. Something for everyone.
The brisket was tender but mine had a lot of fat on it so I wasn't a fan. I liked that it didn't have tons of sauce and the sauce was just tangy enough. The potato chips were delish. I did like those and the tater tots. I haven't eaten the snacks I bought yet but I'm sure they'll be an experience as well. I'm glad we went. read more
