Visited Waco, Texas this weekend and tried the Lone Star Grilled Cheese, which had brisket and cheddar on sourdough bread. It was warm and delicious, though it could have used more brisket, the pieces were small and there weren't many of them. We also ordered a side of tomato basil soup. It was good for dipping the grilled cheese, but I didn't enjoy it much on its own.
There was no line, but the service still took a bit longer than expected. That said, I loved the Magnolia feel of the place. The ambiance was very family-oriented, with awesome music playing and plenty of great seating to relax and enjoy the meal. read more
