Second day after soft opening. Interior is beautiful, the bones of the building are the same as when it was the Plainview Diner, and I have very fond memories of that. There are plenty of velvety booths and comfy chairs. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Large menu, many vegetarian options . Portions were decent and food was excellent and nicely presented. Staff filled up water glasses regularly , which I always appreciate. Wish tofu was an option with pad Thai, and not just chicken and pork. Plenty of parking. They got rid of part of the kitchen and made a nice separate party room. Cherry Amber is a nice upscale addition to the neighborhood and I wish them much success. read more
