Was inspired to try Peruvian food, and came across Chicha Peruvian Kitchen in my search. The food on Yelp looked amazing, so I did that think it would disappoint...and I was right.
We dined her this past Saturday night, and walking up we could tell it was really lively. We were seated to the left of the entrance, in the area where the murals is adorned with colors and patterns. Like that of traditional Peruvian clothing.
We looked over the menu for a little bit and my girlfriend first ordered the Chicha Morada which she'd been wanting to try. We also ordered the following:
Drinks:
Chicha Morada
Appetizers:
Yuca & Platános Fritos
Pan Con Chicarrón
Main Courses:
Pescado A Lo Macho
Pollo Pachamanquerdo
Dessert:
Peruvian Flan
From the drinks to the food, everything was amazing! The spices on the Pollo Pachamanquerdo were so delicious, it was for sure my favorite dish of the night. But I also loved the fried platános, and the Chichi Morada drink.
It was also nice that the live musician played a nice song for my girlfriend and I, after our appetizers arrived. He asked if she preferred it to be in Spanish or English and asked what vibe we preferred. So that was a nice touch on the night, but overall he brought great entertainment to the evenings dinning experience.
Overall:
Good environment, great live music and delicious food. I'll definitely be back again to try more! read more
