I opened my partner's fridge this morning to discover shriveled tangerines, strawberries that had been plucked from last season, & a very sad bag of broccoli that was questionable on the sale-by date.
I thought to myself, "Oh No, this will NOT do."
Thank the universe for the Chop Stop, when I need to get my kale on, first thing in the morning. I have eaten from this place 3 times now- 1st was delivery of their pre-set kale salad, & the last 2x was my own concoction.
I love how you can get a salted pretzel breadstick with your salad- just a hint of carbs without going overboard. My partner likes their Greek Chop, & he has gotten it twice out of our visits.
The place is clean, adheres to Covid-19 safety standards, and their workers/staff are friendly w/ a good attitude. It's nice to see some healthy options, this side of Temecula. Service is also quick, & a much better option than the fast food drive-throughs in this area.
I know some reviews mentioned they had issues with the prices, but I believe it is a personal preference. You invest in your body w/ what you eat. You can choose to spend $12 on wings, or you can choose to spend $12 on green goodness w/ long-term health benefits. We are all responsible for how we take care of our bodies, and as the pandemic hopefully subsides, it is nice to have eateries where healthy & clean eating are viable options.
My latest favorite concoction is kale for the base, paired w/ roasted chicken, cucumbers, red onions, crispy onions, shaved Parmesan, and edamame- with creamy Chipotle on the side. I am more of a savory salad eater, whereas their preset Kale Bowl has cranberries, a sweeter rendition for those who choose it.
I hope this new business will thrive, as more gyms & yoga studios reopen on a regular basis. The summer months will arrive soon, where yummy salads are a light, refreshing palate. read more
