I woke up this morning felt 150% did yoga drank some water was cleaning the house. It was about 12pm I hadn't had breakfast yet but I'd only been up for a few hours. My husband goes and gets me the Chinese salad with tofu instead of chicken for me (he has some chopurito thing.) Literally WHILE eating it (at the end) I felt SO queezie. I've been dealing with nausea now for about 5 hours and I've been shi**ing liquidn on-stop. I ventured off to Chop Stop on Temecula Parkway because of that guy...Aaron E.!! Lol I normally dread going to this area because of the horrid exit that it is, especially during the morning and afternoon/early evening commutes. I made sure to come in the middle of the day so my visit was smooth sailing. This was my first time ever visiting a Chop Stop and had no idea there was one around here. Yelp to the rescue (after seeing "that guy's" post)! There's a butt ton of shopping centers on this road, and Chop Stop is in one, with a lot of free parking. I caught them at a good time as no one was in there so I was able to quickly browse the menu, then place my order to go. You can create your own, or pick from their house offerings. I got the Salmon Chop and it came out in just a few minutes. I love that they make it fresh and you can taste it for sure. The amount of salmon in the salad was sufficient imo and worth the price. However, I do wish the pieces were cut a tad bigger. It had just enough dressing (I asked for easy dressing) so the whole salad still had a nice crisp to it without getting soggy. Who likes THAT?! Not I... The average cost of a salad here will run about $10-$14 and will fluctuate if you choose to add things in. Can get pricey, but if you're always on the run like me, the convenience is worth it. Yes I'll be back, and yes I recommend it. Service was quick and friendly. Since it's a hot day outside, we decided to visit the restaurant for salads. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by an employee. She asked if this was our first time visiting the restaurant and we replied yes. She responded by explaining the various menu options available such as making your own Chop, ordering a menu Chop or ordering a chopurrito which is similar to a Chipotle burrito bowl. I was pleasantly surprised that they not only offer tofu as a protein option but also they have vegan chorizo available and have vegan toppings and salad dressing clearly marked on their menu with a "V." Having said this, it's easy to veganaize any of the menu options. After taking time to look at the menu, I ordered the Asian Chop salad and substituted the double roasted chicken for tofu while hubby ordered the Santa Fe Chop and substituted the double roasted chicken for the vegan chorizo. I was surprised that the restaurant gives the option of lite, regular, or extra salad dressing with your salad which is great. Our salads arrived quickly and came with cutlery which was greatly appreciated. Our salads were flavorful, the salad dressing in the salads were evenly tossed and the salads were the perfect meal for a triple digit weather day. I really love this place & want to continue to support it. But recently, they have been careless with the orders and are missing items. Today I ordered my usual Kale Salmon Chicken salad concoction. The Jalapeño Dirty Chips and Cookie were completely missing from the order. Yes, I can submit a refund thru GrubHub but that is not the point. When you want to eat something and the person prepping the food literally doesn't check the bag before it goes to the delivery driver, then that is no bueno. First I wanna say I love chop shop, their salads are so fresh, and all the proteins they offer are delicious! I go there maybe once or twice a week depending on my work out since my gym is located right next to it. They also give a discount for those who workout near chop shop, that's so cool! The only thing that really bugs me is that lately in the last maybe two months when they hand me back my salad it's only half full or even worse. Mind you I'm aware that the container to give it to you and it's pretty big I never expect them to fill up to the top but it is really frustrating when you pay 12-16 dollars on a salad to have it so mostly empty when they hand it to you. I know that they can argue that they have to leave room for the bag of croutons or wonton strips they add, however as you can see in the photo The wonton chips are placed in the middle and it is halfway to the bottom, not even near the lid because it's so empty. I don't know if this is a new policy or why they are doing this but I really hope they change it soon because I love going there and I don't want to stop. read more

We got there early intending on beating the lunch rush but didn't count on phone in orders or Grub Hub. The place was rather busy before lunch time. We were pleased with our salads. Payed 16 dollars for this!!!! After receiving my salad went home like I usually do and opened the container when I got home. To my dismay the portions were terrible. Keep in mind I am loyal customer who comes in 1 to 2 times a week. Returned to the restaurant to ask if I could receive more greens and a bit more chicken. As I was telling the young gentleman, before he even took a look at my plate he already stated that those were normal distributions. I had to request for him to look at my bowl where he said those are normal portions and refused to give me any more greens and a little bit of chicken. What he did offer was to remake it but stating those are normal portions; I mean how does that solve the issue if you're just going to remake it in a different bowl with the same portions lol not to mention he rolled his eyes at me would not give me a refund . This place is amazing! I always get a build your own salad option instead of any of the menu choices. To start, I love that there are so many options for the salad base. Choices of lettuce, spinach, kale or quinoa, or a combination of two bases. I always choose romaine lettuce and spinach. From there, you pick 6 toppings. There are so many to choose from. Some of the toppings are an extra charge, and if you choose more than six toppings, you will be charged. I had a couple of items that were extra and still, my salad was just over $11. Not bad!!
