Located downtown so you have meter street parking only. Not in a great area (not far from the police station) but I guess you could get BAIL BONDS before or after your meal! Walked in for lunch and told I could sit anywhere. Hard rock and grunge music playing. Casual spot for a bite to eat. Server took my order. Had to try the clam chowder given their name. Also got their Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. The clam chowder was lukewarm and just ok. Not sure why they have the name "Chowderhead???" Nashville hot sandwich was REALLY GOOD! They served it with a "pickle pico" and that was ingenious and really worked! Chicken was moist too. Went to the counter to pay and I HATE IT when restaurants do this, but it defaults to 20% or 25% or 30% tip!!!! This place is a super casual diner with grunge music and you want me to tip you 30% for taking my order and dropping off the sandwich??? Yes I know there is a button to touch to manually enter another amount but this is wrong! I usually tip between 20 and 22% but I like to do it because I choose to, not out of manipulation. In the end I liked the sandwich. Chowder was nothing special. Location is poor and service is OK. Tells you how much I liked the sandwich to still give them 4 stars!!! read more
