I hired Clean AF LLC for a professional move-out cleaning service and had one of the worst customer experiences I've ever encountered. The cleaner they sent, Amber, initially quoted a certain number of hours, then told me she needed one additional hour to finish the job. I agreed to the extra time and paid accordingly, trusting that the service would be completed to move-out standards. After she left, I discovered the apartment was still visibly dirty. Areas were missed, basic cleaning tasks were left incomplete, and it was clear the job was rushed or not done thoroughly. I reached out to the owner, Murissa, to raise my concerns -- and instead of taking accountability or even offering a simple apology, she placed the blame on me for not "adding more time." Let me be clear: it is not the client's job to manage how long a cleaner needs. That responsibility falls on the service provider. I'm not the cleaning professional -- I relied on their expertise to assess the job and communicate if more time was needed. Amber confirmed to me that the job was done. Had she said otherwise, I would have gladly arranged for more time. But no further time was requested, and now the burden of the unfinished work is somehow being placed on me. When I pushed back and requested either a partial refund or a proper re-clean, I was met with the response: "You won't be getting any free service. Good luck finding a new cleaner." After calling her out for the lack of accountability and professionalism, she blocked me entirely -- cutting off communication instead of trying to resolve the issue. I later looked up the company and found that it is not BBB-accredited, which now makes complete sense based on how this was handled. I tried to file a formal complaint through the BBB but was only allowed to leave a customer review -- so here it is.
